Today, we remember Moncks Corner Police Department Police Corporal Marcus Davis Stiles. On this date in 2007, Corporal Marcus Stiles died of wounds sustained when he, with Officer Lonnie Wells, responded to a domestic disturbance call on March 25.

Awarded for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor represents the highest level of courage. Today we honor those who earned it.
