Not going to take 5 years. You fans who want to trade the entire farm system for Old players or 1 year rentals are exactly what’s wrong with this fanbase and why we haven’t won a WS since 09. His breaking ball is a great put out pitch. Just proof you don’t watch him. He does pitch for contact sometimes, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. He cant get behind in counts as bad as he does tho. He fixes that with some more competitive balls, he’ll be fine. Watch him before you comment. You’re acting like he’s 32 pitching like this. That’s when you have a problem. He’s a kid. You should be encouraged with some of the things we’ve seen from him. Or in your case, they only few starts you’ve seen in the Majors since you clearly don’t watch him in AAA

But he hasn’t been nearly as solid as many are acting like he has been. Maybe me saying “horrible” is a bit much. But he hasn’t been pitching like a Friday or Saturday guy.

Hence the “put it together” we made it to Omaha. If you’ve watched any games at all this year you’d know the first 5 can be dangerous.
