@rohindhar When buying an STR we project a ceiling and and floor for revenue, we won’t move forward unless our floor is cash flow positive. This property’s revenue first year was at our floor projection, which is manageable, but the lake is being drained for damn repairs for two years.

Our main ambition behind building our house is to create a gathering space for friends & family. This meant we wanted large entertaining areas where we can all get together. We also wanted to maintain privacy at the bedrooms, both for us & for guests. This resulted in an L-shaped plan where the long leg is used for entertaining(facing the Wasatch back) & the short leg keeps the bedrooms tucked away from the expected & encouraged ruckus. This is a quick video walk from the ‘public’ to the ‘private’
