Congratulations to Kenmore East Varsity Baseball players Henry Budzich and Samson Mayle on being inducted into the National Honors Society tonight. Two true student-athletes ⚾️ 📚

Kenmore East Varsity Baseball defeats North Tonawanda. Samson Mayle was player of the game, 6 strong innings on the mound, 3 hits allowed. David Lang scored 3 runs. Dogs improve to 11-2 overall, 7-2 in the league. On to Friday night, round 2 East-West.

Kenmore East Varsity Baseball pulls off a huge comeback at Grand Island. Down 7-3 in the top of 7th, down to the last strike, rally to win 9-7. Mayle, clutch relief pitching, amazing overall game, McKinney & Freeman, game tying and winning hits, players of the game.

KE Varsity Baseball wins their 5th game of the week with a 7-1 victory over Hutch Tech in a non league game. Mayle, 4 innings of shutout pitching, Lembke, key squeeze bunt, 2RBI’s, wall behind plate, players of the game. Isbrandt 2RBI’s. Dogs improve to 8-0 on the season.

Round 1 of the rivalry game goes to Kenmore East baseball. Goodband complete game no hitter on the mound, 9 K’s. Mayle grand slam. Dogs improve to 6-0 overall 3-0 in the league.

Ken East Baseball improves to 2-0 with a solid 8-1 win over Pioneer. Goodband 5 innings on hill, 9 K’s, Mayle earned the save, 5K’s. Young double to break a 1-1 tie. Isbrandt, Lembke key hits, Freeman RBI, Thomas a wall behind plate. Great team win.
