The sky may have been gloomy, but these majestic horses lit up everyone’s day 🌞 Horses from the Waldburg Shires stables help to cut @Kings_College wildflower meadow every year. Using horses has a far lower impact on soil compaction and the flora of the meadow compared to using a tractor. 📷 Lloyd Mann

There is a moral need for more housing near Cambridge as key workers, University staff and many others are priced out. However, by going for the big win - a vast new City of 250k houses the big vested interests are going for huge overnight change and many £ billions would be made

We have long questioned @Cambridge_Uni and @GreaterCambs whether the large plans for bus routes and rail routes across Cambs would precede big housing plans. Today we now have clear evidence such plans are under discussion with 250k possible new houses @CambridgePPF @wildlifebcn

Cambridge 2040 would quadruple the population and concrete over much of the countryside near Cambridge and would turn it into a Birmingham sized city with over 1 million people @CambridgePPF @wildlifebcn
