I was so impressed at how readily these snakes cooperated!! All Joshua had to do is hold up a stick with some foliage and they were like “oh hell yeah I gotta get up there”. Such cool work!! #SICB2023

When @snake_flyer was working with flying snakes, he noticed that when they are crossing over gaps (going from one branch to another for example), instead of flicking their tongues up and down, they stick their tongues straight out and hold them. So cute and weird! Why?
