@HypyProd @dmtrubman I don't think it's paranoia, I feel perfectly comfortable riding on the bus or trains regularly but its nice having a bus driver keeping an eye on things. I dont think bus drivers are 'security', but their presence acts as a deterrent. Same reason police patrol the subway.

Such a bummer knowing left wing transit advocacy groups are going to spend the next few decades campaigning against autonomously driven buses (which could drastically increase service hours) because they prioritize the demands of transit unions, not the riding public.

For the first time in Norwegian history, a bus will carry passengers in regular traffic without any human behind the wheel. The first pilot without a safety driver was tested Friday, and if all goes as planned, anyone can ride driverless buses starting in May.

@beigepilled @StatisticUrban Point of full the video is that due to poor planting practices and selection of non-native plants is that all of the little vegetation planted around the brand new development is already on the brink of death. So no unfortunately the trees will not grow up.

@_sorrengailll They don't, AI data center water consumption statistics are misleading and easy to manipulate for either side. In Loudon County Virginia for example 750 million gallons of reclaimed water were used for industrial uses, primarily data center cooling. loudounwater.org/commercial-cus…
