Auf eine Anfrage von abgeordnetenwatch nach finanzieller Entschädigung antwortete Klingbeil am 10.3.23: „Für mein Engagement im Verwaltungsbeirat des FC Bayern München erhalte ich keine finanzielle Entschädigung oder Sonderkonditionen.“ Der Münchner OB Dieter Reiter , zu dieser Zeit ebenfalls Mitglied des Gremiums, erklärte jetzt , dass die Tätigkeit seit Ende 2021 mit jährlich 20000 Euro vergütet werde. Ich frage für einen Freund: Wer lügt? Die Frage nach Entschädigung geht auch an Bundesministerin Dorothee Bär. Sie ist Mitglied im Verwaltungsbeirat des FCB seit März 2019.

It truly feels like a miracle to be able to walk and start to do some basic activities, although at a very slow and careful pace. I would like to thank all the Mediclinic staff, all the surgeons, nurses and everyone who has made this incredible recovery a possibility. Thank you to DP World Tour & Sunshine Tour in particular Mateo, Ben, Joel and all the people who helped me along this last week. The DP World Tour players and caddies who came to visit me in ICU while playing the SA Open - it truly felt like a big family! Thank you to all the friends, family, sponsors and people who reached out with messages and prayers and stepped in to help in all kinds of different ways. I am sorry I could not get back to all of you yet, but my heart is overwhelmed with love and joy. God has answered many prayers, it truly feels like His hand is on my recovery. The road is very long but this small step feels very good! I will need to stay in South Africa another 5 weeks and rehab both shoulder and back, and heal other bruises and secondary injuries and once back home continue the rehab journey." RIP to the great Dutch Grandmaster Jan Timman. He was the leader of the new Western generation after Fischer. Unlike many, he was a serious analyst and researcher who loved every aspect of the game, including compositions. He was at his powerful peak through the 1980s to 1993, when he lost matches to his peer Karpov and Nigel Short of the new generation. We dueled many times, including his victory in my "heaviest" game ever, where our moves were mirrored by machines moving huge shipping containers as pieces in Rotterdam! We also argued many times, as he also cared deeply about the future of our beloved game. He was my first opponent after I became world champion in 1985, pictured here in Hilversum, NED, before game 5 of our match on Dec 20, I believe.
