Nine days ago, my father went to the grocery store to get a few items. After parking his car, he stepped out and tripped over a protrusion in the parking lot. There was a lot of blood coming from his head - an ambulance arrived a short time later and the hospital treated him and he was released a few hours later. He's fine, but his face looks like it went a round or two with Mike Tyson. And there was a lot of help from several people in the parking lot. He is very fortunate. The bruises will take a few weeks to heal.
