@moxhollow @sims4lizzyuk @luthsthings “People think some types don’t count as mods”. Nailed it. Custom Content is Mods. Custom Content can cause crashes, exceptions, all sorts of issues. Your innocent looking extra CAS hair is awesome, and we love it, but it can potentially cause bugs. Especially with an EP patch.

@Pepsimax807 The update shouldn’t break anything, we’ve tested all the scenarios. But there could still be unexpected issues. It can’t hurt to backup your saves just in case, I don’t wanna see anyone lose their saves or have them get corrupted

@SimGuruNick What do you mean? I never play with any mods and CC, but will this update «break» every savefile I have in game? Do I need to do something? Usually its only the people with mods/cc that have to worry (hence why I don’t use those).

Tomorrow’s patch is supposed to be the biggest in TS4 history, in terms of file size. Copy/paste your Saves folder to your Desktop. Cut/paste your Mods folder to your Desktop. Do it. Do it.

Simulation lag is a symptom, not a bug. There are dozens of different reasons it can happen. We make perf fixes every patch, but we’d love to make more. If you have lag in your game please send me your save and Config.log (in your TS4 folder in Documents) docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…

We've completed our investigation into various instances stemming from Tuesday's update including auto-aging, unintended Wants, & the appearance of fame for the non-famous. We'll be rolling out a patch to resolve these & more by the end of next week and appreciate your patience.

Hey Simmers! We are currently investigating instances involving Sims auto-aging up in saves using the Short or Long lifespan. We recommend temporarily playing in or creating new saves with the default/“normal” lifespan, as we work towards a solution.
