@DrSianAllen Sometimes it’s about having to match the competition schedule so if you have early games e.g. in Olympics you are preparing properly for that.

I still don’t understand why some sports train so early in the morning.
Surprise, surprise - early morning training is associated with poorer sleep quality & shorter sleep duration in student-athletes.
