My theory on “7 Minute Drill”: It’s a warning shot, as he said. It wasn’t meant to be the kill shot. He did it as one of his “7 minute drill” practices to show he can bar him up quick, not taking 30 months between verses like Kendrick. It’s more of a flex that he can consistently deliver quality verses on the regular, and his pen keeps getting better. Personally, I think he’s baiting Kendrick to drop more music, which is something we all would want as rap fans 🤝
