Don't think there's much point looking at how reliable the source is, but I don't think this would be a bad move for either party. United need that mentality and experience, adding solid depth. For all the quality in their squad, they lack a natural winner and Bright is undoubtedly that. Think it's much more likely she moves to someone like Liverpool, or Newcastle if they come up. Would be a fantastic move for them and a real show of ambition. Would give her a chance to sustain her legacy as a WSL legend and really contribute to building a potential future WSL powerhouse.

@SubToTWFC "lack a natural winner"?? Looks at Rolfö medals.... Looks at Malard's medals... Looks at Tooney's medals.... Three players there with plenty of medals, both internationally & at club level. Three players who definitely are "natural winners".

@FCLeeuwinnen If they wanted to look within the WSL, I really like Olsson, Ueki, Martinez, Tandberg, Gago, but not sure any of them take them to the next level. So maybe an NWSL forward, Matsukubo/Banda would be incredible. Definitely don't want Beerensteyn though!

@FCLeeuwinnen Agreed. Not a lot of options right now. Elite strikers in Europe seem to be locked down. Maybe a blockbuster move for Dumornay or Banda? Wouldn't be surprised if they either went for a young player like Felicia Schröder or doubled down on a false 9 type role

@TioLu_Insight89 Chelsea's attack hasn't been incredibly functional for a few seasons. Too reliant on individual quality. Build around James, invest heavily and be ambitious and I think Chelsea can really kick on

Wow. Can only assume Kerr rejected a new deal? Offering Bright a renewal seems odd to me though. Big summer for Chelsea. Not necessarily bad deals if they nail the replacements
