Okay, need to say something else on this letter MLB sent to Hawley. They have the audacity to say, "At the league level, MLB has twelve league-wide events each year in which the uniform or hat is altered...Mother's Day, Father's Day, Armed Forces Weekend, Play Ball Weekend, Memorial Day, Lou Gehrig Day, Independence Day, Hall of Fame Weekend, Childhood Cancer Awareness Day, September 11th, Jackie Robinson Day and Roberto Clemente Day." "For these days, players wear special uniforms and hats, and for some of the days, the Uniform Regulations contained in the collective bargaining agreement are relaxed per agreement with the Union. We are unaware of any significant complaints from fans or players regarding these celebratory days." You mean the players didn't object to celebrating MOTHERS or efforts to defeat CHILDHOOD CANCER? What a shock! Celebrating Pride is a highly divisive issue. Only 37 percent of Republicans now support the redefinition of marriage to include same-sex couples. Only 38 percent of the ENTIRE American electorate thinks it's moral to change genders. So I don't know, maybe THIS issue received some pushback where childhood cancer didn't because there isn't broad public agreement on this issue? In fact, since the BLM years, Pride is the ONLY divisive social issue for which the league has officially endorsed a side. No one's debating whether we should fight cancer in kids. Everyone agrees. Same with celebrating moms or dads. Other than the extremist state of New York which wants to replace them with "gestational" and "non gestational parent," those other specially branded uniforms aren't at all controversial to anyone.

Major League Baseball needs to get rid of Pride Nights altogether… They should not allow the Los Angeles Dodgers & San Francisco Giants the ability to coerce or shame Christian players into participating in a celebration of what the Bible calls sin. Players that don’t wear the Pride gear get just as much hate & vitriol as when they write bible verses on them.

This basically means athletes can opt out of Pride uniforms now without fear of discipline from leagues

If US players want to play for the US teams, let’s do it US players on US teams. Canadians on Canadian teams. Then let’s watch the 7 Canadian teams remind everyone where hockey comes from and bring the Stanley Cup back where it belongs 🇨🇦

An MLB team decides to have Christian Night at the Park, and requires each player to wear a hat with a cross on it, rather than the team's logo. What's your response?
