Crazy to think 20y ago, my first paper at ECCV02 and I couldn't even attend the galla as a student. Now, at @eccvconf, a PC. Wonder if 2044 PCs are in this picture... A hard year but sooo worth it, now seeing you all.

@Michael_J_Black @eccvconf Because of the regulations? Perhaps helpful: As of today, Israel (the entire country) has ~1,400 COVID positives of which 76 are hospitalized (17 serious), and the gradient is negative. These numbers are out of >9M people.

I do not regret going to @CVPR despite testing positive just now. I was -ve pre-flight but developed symptoms over flight and now have fever. Thanks to colleagues who informed me they tested positive - we had dinner Thur. Apologies if I passed it on! Wish you speedy recovery

@mentzer_f @eccvconf +1 @eccvconf. We take reports of plagiarism, as well as other violations, very seriously, as they may have consequences on people's careers. It can therefore take time to see outcomes. Please do share relevant info with us (PCs), if you haven't already done so.

I had a paper in my @eccvconf stack that plagiarized two of my own papers with verbatim text copies. Told the AC but never heard back, paper is still in CMT!! imo paper should be removed right away and authors should be blocked from submitting again.
