@MyFryHole Askarov made a few great saves tonight and the defense was terrible…but all 5 goals were elevated and he missed on the glove side. You can’t blame him on all of them, but he has to make a few more saves in a game of this importance.

@EmmanuelAcho If Purdy was on any other team than SF, he wouldn’t even be a starter. Between this and you calling Rogers the greatest passer in NFL history, you are losing a great deal of credibility today.

The reason I hate stats without watching tape: Stats won’t tell you that Brock Purdy just threw 3 TD’s in 4 plays (2 negated because of penalties). Stats won’t show you Purdy’s resiliency, his poise, his mobility. The stat simply says, “touchdown.”
