@gwonthepatio Hard to compare eras, but Rodeny averaged 20.7 carries per game, while Sims averaged 25.8.

🤯Oklahoma is averaging 3.8 HRs per game. They only need to average 1.8 going forward to break the NCAA record for HRs in a season (currently owned by 2021 Oklahoma).

@SoonerDee15 If this were true, then NIL would mean the least in football since the rosters are the largest. But we both know that’s not true.

@TheMainLinePod and one team has 15 while the other has 37 how do you not fucking get this through your moronic head it matters much more on the talent divide in basketball than baseball because you have far less people .... and the NIL is much more in Basketball my fucking lord you're an idiot

@SoonerDee15 Skip doesn’t have the resources that half the SEC has either. One is a good coach who’s overcoming the obstacle, and one isn’t.

@SoonerDee15 Roster size is a valid point. However it’s been reported that A&M has a baseball player earning $500k. That alone is probably more than the entire OU roster. It’s not unreasonable to want good coaching in the LNC.

@TheMainLinePod theres only a few spots on a basketball team and if you dont have quality talent it shows up much more in basketball than a baseball team the roster is much bigger

@SoonerDee15 Not sure what you’re saying. Baseball is at a big disadvantage NIL wise and so is MBB. The scale might be bigger in MBB but the disadvantage is similar.

@TheMainLinePod @Eddie_Rado Just because one team can win with a smaller budget than everyone else doesn’t mean that should be our goal for our teams at Oklahoma. Oklahoma is a proud program that should compete at the highest level in the NIL game.

@oompaaloopma Coaching would’ve told any player to foul against Mizzou. NIL has nothing to do with that.

@oompaaloopma NIL spending had nothing to do with the loss against Mizzou. Or the multiple collapses at the end of games. NIL is a problem, but coaching is too.

2026's top 3 classes averaged 31 signees per school. They also AVGed 7 top 100 signees. #Sooners currently... 5 top 100 commits. 2 top 100 predicted to OU. 3/7 currently ranked in 5-star spots I know facts aren't key here & I'm wasting my time but in case you were interested.
Geoff Ketchum@gkketch

Oklahoma has 19 commitments. 4-5 of them are national top 100 guys in the Rivals rankings. They aren't finishing with the No.1 recruiting class. lol But, they are doing well for their usual standards. Having a great in-state class is everything. So is hiring a 5-star's dad.
