@TheRobAlexander You’re too close to the bag. You’re a longer/taller guy use that range. Be out of range and take 1 step with your front foot while your back foot stays planted, fully extend the jab while you take 1 step with your front foot then bring your foot + your hand back at the same time

Fourth round. 3 minute rounds, exhausted, arms feel like they’re made of cement, sweaty, thirsty, coming off shoulder injury, completely out of shape, haven’t sparred in months (this was recorded in early Feb), i am physically depleted. But, I do not show it. During the fourth round, I turn the volume up, I make myself get faster, I make sure I don’t get sloppy, i make sure I look like i can go another 4 rounds. Boxing is not just physical, boxing is mental. If you can take control over your own body and make your body work even when it is depleted, that is the biggest thing. Boxing is mental, boxing is thinking, boxing is mind over body 🧠
