@signulll @andrewchen We added an option to book a 1:1 onboarding call (paid) when people sign up to our product. It's resulted in us a stack of great intel only from our ideal customers.
You can hear all your customers, but you can't listen to all of them.
English

@andrewchen lol talking to your users early was also a huge trap. you should basically only see how users emotionally react to what you've built as the signal (at least initially).

@stackhodler @lawrencekingyo I was the Brokie Trail around the same time.
Grinding out random freelance stuff to add months or weeks of runway to my adventure as I went.
English

@lawrencekingyo I love this idea.
But there's a solid chance that backpacking through europe as a brokie in summer 2014 will remain unmatched
$10K in the bank but damn life was good

@natbrunell @Matyas44Cook Listened this morning. Was already going to the conf but am doubly sold now. Great chat.

EU regulation killed Bitcoin payments across Europe.
Over 1,000 businesses that accepted Bitcoin had to stop overnight.
But Prague isn't backing down.
@Matyas44Cook shares how the Czech Republic is becoming the most Bitcoin-friendly country in Europe — and why the rest of the world should pay attention. Full episode (with Czech translations thanks to AI!)

@MartyBent @maxshoemaker The Unplugged of Unpluggeds man.
Nirvana was the big thing when I was growing up, but AIC has aged so much better IMO.
I saw Jerry live last year.
English

@maxshoemaker Holy shit. I was not aware of that and have been listening to it in my office all morning.

@Jethroe111 @Giovann35084111 Wrote a big yarn on power laws recently. They are under-appreciated:
navexa.com/the-benchmark/…
English

I took a lot of flak by coming out early in favor of the Bitcoin Power Law (BPL) as a legitimate model.
I'm still following the model.
Power laws are uniquely able to capture networks.

@PeterSchiff We’re building a moon base. We are then going to mine the moon to build data centres. Solar system is next. In this future, gold will lose its monetary premium. Hence BTC will take over its market cap.
That’s why you hold BTC, you hold it as a backup for when gold fails.

Bitcoin has never been this undervalued against global money supply
Quinten | 048.eth@QuintenFrancois
Remember when we all 100% believed the Bitcoin - global liquidity correlation?
English

Saylor making it make sense to Schiff.
One of the few who talks about annualized performance.
Michael Saylor@saylor
@PeterSchiff Timeframes matter. Since Aug 2020, Bitcoin is the top-performing major asset and it’s not even close. Zoom out further and the gap only widens. $BTC

@nic_amadio I also saw some coverage of this that said 'may have to' seek permission. Others implying this is tantamount to conscription.

A lot of people criticise Germany for this new law, but few wonder what’s the reason behind it?
It’s not conspiracy: Germany, unlike the US, doesn’t even have much lobbying from war industries.
It’s the realistic threat of Russia towards NATO countries in Europe. It’s well documented, and well on its way already with acts of sabotage, hybrid warfare, disinformation campaigns.
I agree the new law sucks. But maybe the finger should be pointed elsewhere?
Having a realistic deterrence is part of keeping your country safe.
The Germany army’s general understands the risks better than others (also because majority of politicians don’t want to lose seats due to unpopular policies), and wants to prepare the country accordingly.

@enjojoyy @yacineMTB 'Show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome.'
English

@yacineMTB It’s funny how 100 is more used than 95 just because it’s someone’s goal so they push harder to get there right away

@euromaximal @MarvinTBaumann And yet, next door, I've found Spanish trains to be remarkably punctual
English

@MarvinTBaumann Nothing pisses me off like trains arriving late. In Portugal the rare thing is to find one arriving on time.
English

This should be the standard across Europe. No excuses
About Switzerland@AbtSwitzerland
Switzerland is redefining punctuality ⏱️🇨🇭 A new time standard pushes precision beyond the minute, down to the second. Swiss trains are now scheduled with second-level accuracy.
