It’s called the “World Cup”, the clue is in the name. “We’ve not had it for 8 cycles”, England hasn’t had any of the last 15, it’s a world sport; if you’ve just got into it, cool, that’s great; it doesn’t mean you’re entitled to something as vast and culturally important.

@mitch_fretton Yea i can't remember a the last time Spurs got a top player over the line when up against top clubs. Very difficult to pull off

All well and good Tottenham being ‘aggressive’ in the transfer market but it all means nothing if we can’t get these big deals over the line. Get Tonali and Fernandes snapped up ASAP.
