That’s why opposition candidates are not receiving American support or funds this time, except the ones being funded to oppose to the opposition. The Civil Society Groups, including the Bring Back Our Girls, are not receiving money for any meaningful protest time. Influencers like Omojuwa as well, instead are actively supporting the current government. Rather than doing stupid comparisons, why not accept first that your country is being run by foreign powers. That way you can plan properly, and when you do summon the courage to shutdown the country, you will know exactly why you are shutting it down.
