It was a very beautiful day to celebrate the Earth and plant some trees. The weather was great and volunteers planted 15 trees at Armstrong Park.

We have guided hikes slated for this weekend (4/20) at three DNR nature preserves. Lead by staff/volunteers, hikes travel in small groups to areas not frequented by the public. Hikes are free, but registration is required. in.gov/dnr/nature-pre…

The 2024 Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Planting Event will be held outside in the morning on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Community volunteers will plant 59 trees along South 26th Street in Lafayette. See treelafayette.org/arbor-day/ for more details or to preregister.
