But now, I am starting to think maybe he just isn't that good. Maybe 23/24 was just a complete anomaly, and the previous seasons were more his level, a normality. 2 seasons of being lacklustre now. His only truly "elite" seasons were 20/21, and 23/24. The rest? Average, never saw the hype.

The thing is that it's easy to admire a successful project, but many clubs and fans lack the required patience to see it through. That's why I think it will be difficult to convince him until everything settles down and shows a clear direction at Chelsea. So, for now, it's just a pipe dream. He is unlikely to accept Chelsea at this crisis point.
