BREAKING: Beaver County, Utah Agrees to Pay $52,000 + Attorney Fees to Settle First Amendment Lawsuit. #FirstAmendment #RightToRescue

Last year, a federal civil rights lawsuit was filed against Beaver County, Utah by activists with @DxEverywhere and @UARC who were defending their 1st Am right to speak freely about abuses at @SmithfieldFoods & the then-upcoming #SmithfieldTrial. Here is the outcome!!

When you mix animals and commerce, the animals always lose. Commercially produced wool, leather, down, etc. causes immeasurable suffering to animals (and all animals used in the clothing industry are eventually slaughtered)--but fundamentally, animals are not ours to wear.
