EXCLUSIVE: RZA is launching label 36 Cinema Distribution with the U.S. theatrical release of his revenge-thriller 'RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate.' RZA’s Kill Bill collaborator and mentor Quentin Tarantino has come aboard to present the film, which is heavily influenced by martial arts and exploitation cinema, and follows an ex-military convict seeking redemption in a small town. Got a chance to tour this while in Hyderabad, and have never seen anything like it (and I've toured several of these facilities in the US as well).

Tickets are moving fast for the RRRegal screenings next week, featuring the Varanasi ('To The World') glimpse attached to all screenings and a built-in intermission. You don't have enough speakers in your house to do this film justice, come to the show! One day only, 3/2.

Since this is apparently possible, Variance is hereby embargoing all sub-4 star reviews until 2075, like a little precious and magical time capsule that will allow society to catch up with our films, which are all either instant classics or ahead of their time.
