Kills in 5 shots (same as m15) Shoots slower than m15 (less forgiving if you miss especially up closes) Basically no headshot multiplier (less rng/random headshots up close) Slower handling speeds (worse up close) Better range more consistent ttk at range As for the SMG the way these maps are built I truthfully don’t know if there’s a perfect smg that fits a whole map outside of situational weapon swaps for certain hills or maps. Either way with the Dravec nerf to range and slight recoil change I think making the AR worse up close is a step in the right direction for comp.
