#5 Choose a topic you can cover in the paper length you're assigned. Try to be specific! For example, the entire history of the Ming Dynasty would be a lot for an 6 pg paper, but how the Ming Dynasty strengthened the Great Wall from 1567-1570 you could more fully address.
