@WithBellaSun For CPU you can go with a Ryzen 9600x for gaming, but are likely better off with a 9800x3D chip. The 3D v cache helps with gaming, & the two extra CPU cores will help with the 3D modeling. For motherboard, you want a B650 or B850 chipset with at least wifi 6E and 2.5G ethernet.

*Batman signal for the gamers* I’d love some advice on putting together a PC parts list. I’ll be mainly using it for gaming (e.g. FromSoftware games), 3D modelling & rendering (Vray, 3ds Max). A decent gaming PC should be more than sufficient for my rendering needs. I’d been waiting for GPU prices to come down, but with where the AI demand is, I expect they’ll only become more expensive in the next year at least. So it’s time for me to build one now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What I know: -GeForce RTX 5070 Ti at minimum -32GB RAM -Lian Li O11 case (the attached pic is the aesthetic I’m after) Open to suggestions for the rest, especially CPU pairing & cooling. Can I get all the parts within $3-4k CAD?

@BellaSunYVR Yeah, different watering schedules and witness of soil in general, that whole guides on how to do it it’s really good YouTube videos, of how you can do certain herbs in one pot that like it with in certain herbs in another pot they like it dryer

I’d love to start a little garden on my balcony. Is it realistic to want a Japanese maple in a planter pot on my NE facing balcony? Will it survive the Vancouver winter?

@Londonerd_ Yum!! Different water? As in different water types or different amounts/ watering frequencies?

When it gets warm enough basil is amazing, but lemon thyme, normal thyme, mint, rosemary, chives are amazing, oregano, sage, it takes a bit of work learning all the different water that they like and how to protect them if they if it’s gonna get too cold but it’s totally worth it, there are some really good apps and for the summer I have a auto watering system, sounds very complicated. It’s really very simple

@Londonerd_ Good to know! I’ll look for one that’s already in a pot. I plan to start a small herb and veggie garden too, fresh cherry tomatoes would be amazing. What are your favourite herbs to grow?

@BellaSunYVR A bonsai version would, but anything bigger or overwhelm any pot you put it in, a good thing to grow our herbs, I know it sounds weird but fresh herbs in your food is amazing
