The more time I spend in Web3 gaming, the more I realize I'm fighting a battle most people don't even see. I care more about competitive integrity than I do about owning an asset. I care more about skill expression than progression systems. And I care more about effort protection than rewards. Maybe that's the competitive gamer in me. When I enter a PvP game, I want to know my decisions matter. That if I lose, it's because I got outplayed. That if I win, I earned it. The longer I'm in this space, the more I realize many players aren't looking for the same thing. And that's okay. But I am. I will always choose systems that protect effort, reward mastery, and respect competition. Everything else comes second.

@CaffeinaWeb3 Effort protection and deflation of new assets compares to old ones. Make legacy worth more like collectors items and add special attributes for early items/characters to bonus early adopters.

The more I talk about effort protection, the more Cardano users seem to resonate with my content. Which is strange because I don't make Cardano content. I've spent years inside games and ecosystems on other chains. So now I'm asking myself a question: Why do the people building around the ideas I care about seem to find me faster than the people I've spent years supporting? No conclusions yet. But after 5 months of seeing the same pattern, I think it deserves a closer look.
