The @LungHealthCheck was one of the first screening programmes to introduce lung CT scans on a mobile unit that travels to shopping centre car parks. Professor Matthew Callister has hailed today’s announcement as a “landmark decision in lung cancer care in this country”.

The final intervention, including a personalised booklet (with scan images of the participants lungs and heart) is delivered in conjunction with a personalised risk information by a trained smoking cessation practitioner. We are currently trialling it in the @YESSstudy.
