As the autistic geoscientist being discussed here, I'm super happy with how @NatGeo highlighted access issues neurodiverse students face without sensationalising disability. Oh, and the geology is awesome, but I'm bias!

Sharing a bit about about the scientist as well as the very cool science in this article normalizes the author’s autism without making it a spectacle. This is the #scicom model we should follow so we can learn about the scientists behind the science. Good job @NatGeo!
