Sold all my $AAMC. CB ~$30/sh. Out at ~$83. Easily biggest winner this year. May be too early if company continues to execute but feels overextended here. Still wish everyone who owns it makes a bunch more $$.

Weird coincidence with the case timing if it were either of them, but we'll see a filing soon enough if it was.

@retails_edge @bkclaims Sure, any # of reasons. But if WELX had claims on what amounted to 500+ BTC, that would have been over $1.25/WELX share even back then at $10k BTC. So that sale at that price at that time would have been very unlikely. I think it's off by an order of magnitude at least.

Interesting to listen to this as a shareholder of $WELX. $WELX has owns Mt. Gox claims through @bkclaims's firm. On the books, these claims are valued at $350k. If this is at cost, shareholders could be looking at 500+ bitcoin that can hit the balance sheet in '24.

@retails_edge @bkclaims But one of the guys who does know is on this thread, and his WELX stake was reported at ~578,000 shares at 6/30/20 and 83,000 at 9/30/20, and the only week during that quarter where enough shares traded to bridge those 2 figures, the WELX VWAP was 78 cents.

@retails_edge @bkclaims I think they are carried at lower of cost or market, and at 9/30 they didn't need to mark them down. I also think the carrying value does not include any performance fee payable. And finally I do not know if the full $350 relates to Mt Gox claims or also includes other claims.

@retails_edge @bkclaims Given the commentary and actions over the last few years of those who would know best, I'd be very surprised to learn Winland's Mt Gox stake amounted to more than about 20 BTC worth of claims, and maybe as low as 10 BTC.
