AO3 is not social media, it's a library. Fanfic is not content, it's a hobby. Fic writers are not published authors who should stay out of fan spaces. They ARE fans. Fic readers are not clients or customers, they're fellow fans. The sooner people realise all that, the better.

I've always been a social media hater. Firm believer that i'm an artist, not a content creator. I hate having to figure out the algo, the scheduling posts, the engagement insights, i hate all of it so much It sucks that to be an artist nowadays, you have to play this game.
