There’s a serious Lassa fever outbreak in Nigeria right now where 146 people have been confirmed dead in 11 weeks and there have been 582 confirmed cases.
25 doctors have been infected, and 3 have lost their lives.
If you are reading this, please stay safe. This virus spreads through the urine or droppings of infected rats, or human-to-human contact.
It starts like an ordinary fever, but it can quickly move to bleeding, a swollen face, and shock.
ALWAYS:
1. Cover your food and pots tightly.
2. Block the holes where rats enter your house.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap.
4. If you have a persistent fever, stop swallowing random drugs from the chemist. Go to the hospital immediately.
Our health workers are at risk, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is life-saving. We cannot afford to lose more people to a preventable disease.
Stay safe and retweet this to save a life today!

PHOTOS: Youths hold rally at Jonathan’s Abuja residence, urge him to contest 2027 presidency
Hundreds of youths under the Coalition for Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday gathered at the Abuja residence of former President Goodluck Jonathan, urging him to contest the 2027 presidential election.
The gathering disrupted traffic in the area as the youths chanted slogans, danced to music, and displayed placards appealing to the former president to return to active politics.

@Thismrcy11 Great breakdown! BIOS sounds like the ultimate DeSci accelerator, turning clunky research silos into a seamless AI-orchestrated pipeline.
Love how it loops in onchain funding and community validation to keep things transparent and momentum-driven.

When I first read about BIOS, I didn’t get it.
Not because it wasn’t impressive, but because it was written for scientists, builders, and DeSci natives.
I’m not a scientist. I had to slow down, reread it carefully, and break it apart to understand what BIOS actually is and why it matters.
So here’s BIOS explained simply, the way I wish I saw it the first time.
BIOS is not just “AI for science.” It’s an AI scientist designed to run the entire research process, from the first question to a real product people can use.
Normally, research is fragmented. You read papers in one place, apply for funding somewhere else, store data elsewhere, wait months for approvals, then maybe years later something useful comes out.
BIOS connects all of that into one continuous system.
It starts with a question. A researcher asks BIOS something like: “What new ways exist to reverse mitochondrial dysfunction?”
Instead of just giving an answer, BIOS breaks the problem down and coordinates a swarm of specialized AI subagents.
Some agents search PubMed, ArXiv, patents, and clinical trials. Others focus on specific domains like longevity or microbiology.
Novelty detection agents check what hasn’t been tried before. From all this, a new hypothesis emerges.
The human researcher stays in control, refining and guiding the idea.
BIOS then runs computational simulations to test the hypothesis in silico. If the data looks promising, everything is stored in a Molecule Lab.
This is a private, persistent research workspace where all findings, data, and experiments live.
BIOS remembers everything. Each insight becomes the foundation for the next step.
When the research needs real world validation, it doesn’t leave the system.
Funding happens through Bio Protocol’s launchpad.
Communities evaluate the work, token holders fund it, and capital flows in transparently.
Milestones are enforced onchain. Funds only release when real progress is made.
As experiments run, BIOS keeps analyzing incoming data, spotting patterns, and suggesting next steps.
Research doesn’t pause. It compounds.
If the research succeeds, it doesn’t end as a paper sitting on a server. Validated compounds can become real products distributed through Biofy, Bio Protocol’s direct to patient platform.
Users can securely share data, get personalized guidance, and feed real world usage back into the system.
The patient becomes part of the research loop.
This entire system is powered by a network of specialized BioAgents. One AI can’t be best at everything, so BIOS coordinates many.
For example, longevity focused questions can route to Aubrai, a BioAgent specialized in aging research, developed alongside partners like Vitadao.
Agents compete on performance, earn per query, and create a marketplace of intelligence where better science gets rewarded.
What this changes for DeSci is huge.
It moves DeSci from funding science to executing science. From slow, permission based research to continuous, verifiable progress.
From disconnected tools to a full stack where discovery, funding, validation, and commercialization are linked.
BIOS removes the bureaucracy so humans can focus on insight. Communities fund what matters. Data stays sovereign.
Value flows to researchers, agents, and token holders based on real outcomes.
BIOS is live. Aubrai is live. Bio protocol, Molecule Labs, Bio Launchpad, Biofy, and partners like VitaDAO are building this future now.
It took me time to understand it. But once it clicks, you realize BIOS isn’t just another AI tool.
It’s infrastructure for how science moves forward.

“If you are rich, you will enjoy Nigeria”.
This is one of the most fundamentally foolish things to ever say and believe in the history of foolish things in the world.
Today our very own world boxing champion Anthony Joshua had a ghastly motor crash that killed two people.
No ambulance.
No paramedics.
No first aid service.
No emergency response.
Just a confused crowd at an accident site.
Recently there was a fire outbreak in a building in Lagos with many people trapped in it.
For many hours,
No ambulance, no fire service,
No first aid service, no emergency response. Again, just another confused crowd outside the building while people burnt to death inside.
Terrible incidents like the terrible car accident that just happened to Anthony Joshua and the complete utter lack of a coordinated emergency response is another stark reminder of what a poor, backward and undeveloped country we are.
Two people died in that same car accident that Anthony Joshua was involved in. If AJ also needed emergency medical attention, he could have died. Quite simply so.
His money wouldn’t matter.
His fame wouldn’t matter.
His global renown wouldn’t matter.
He could have simply died today.
Today’s crash should be a cold brutal awakening to every one of us. Your money is absolutely meaningless in a failed country that has no working healthcare systems and no working institutions.
It does not matter if you are rich or poor. In many life threatening emergency medical situations, your money will end up being very useless. This is again a cold stark reminder to everyone who thinks that wealth is somehow always a sure shield against failed systems in a failed country.
AJ could have died today.
Just because he had an accident in a country that has zero first aid, zero emergency medical response, zero timely ambulance and zero paramedics when your life is hanging in the balance.
A country where human life has zero value.

I really hate when people upgrade from a 200k laptop to a MacBook and they start talking shit on Windows.
The OS isn't the issue, you just had a cheap laptop.
