The erroneous news reports indicating that the U.S. and Iran would be restarting talks were produced because Pakistan’s ISPR sent the following incorrect update to many journalists. (They didn’t send it directly to me, but I was forwarded it.)
This was the message:
“Breaking ‼️
*Attributable to Government Sources*
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to arrive in Islamabad tonight with a small delegation, according to government sources.
Following important discussions with the Pakistani mediation team, a second round of Islamabad peace talks between the United States and Iran is expected, government sources say.
A U.S. logistics and security team is already present in Islamabad to facilitate the negotiation process.”
It was never true that Aragchi had any plans to re-enter negotiations last week. Why would the Pakistanis say otherwise? Anyway, odd stuff.

🚨🚨 Mr Chief Justice Yahya Afridi whenever you get time from writing frivolous press releases, remember petitions of #Pakistan’s most prominent human rights defenders and a couple from your own community/officers of the court @ImaanZHazir and @AdvHadiali are still waiting for fixation, it’s not more than 3 months they are in jail in result of sham trial and manipulation by #Islamabad high court over their appeals!

i wouldn’t say that and it’s completely wrong to call someone dishonest and cowardly for his political views. He has his own understand of politics and many including myself don’t agree with him. He is a religious scholar and has an understanding about the political and power dynamics of the world right now. It’s his vision on how muslims should act, react and conduct themselves to come out of this misery and establish themselves as a global power. He thinks we should avoid conflict, rebuild our strength and while doing that avoid violence and urge peace and mostly in land in the realm of cowardice and non action which i can’t agree to but this is his honest understanding and he has every right to voice it. Calling someone dishonest and cowardly is going too far.

لنڈے کے Non-PTA سقراط جس انٹیلیجس رپورٹ کا آپ دعوی کر رہے ہیں وہ انٹیلیجنس رپورٹ ساری کی ساری غیر مصدقہ پاکستانی سورس پر مبنی ہے اس کی بنیاد صرف ایک “Pakistani source said” پر ہے جس میں نہ نام ہے نہ عہدہ نہ کوئی آفیشل بیان The Wall Street Journal کی رپورٹ میں ایرانی رہنماؤں کو ٹارگٹ لسٹ سے ہٹانے کا ذکر ہے لیکن پاکستان کے کردار کا کوئی ذکر نہیں Reuters میں بھی صرف ایک پاکستانی ذریعہ کا حوالہ ہے کوئی مصدقہ رپورٹ نہیں تو جب آپ یہ بتا رہے تھے تو لنڈے سقراط صاحب یہاں پر آپ مینشن کرنا بھول گئے کہ یہ ساری رپورٹنگ غیر مصدقہ رپورٹ ہیں جس کو خود ان اخباروں نے منشن کیا اور یہ بھی مینشن کیا ہے کہ ہم اس چیز کی ابھی تک تصدیق نہیں کر پائیں
