From the eye test I noticed that Gabriel seemed to be making more blocks this season so I checked the numbers: Blocks /90: 23/24: 1.2 24/25: 1.5 25/26: 1.8 He’s also currently 5th in the PL /90 (1.3) despite Arsenal facing the fewest shots /90 (7.9). He’s only getting better.

Rooney is very underrated by many modern fans but I can’t agree with this at all. Neymar was unbelievable and the trophies, stats and eye-test all back it up. Needless comparison.

Wayne Rooney was a better player than Neymar. By a country mile. There isn’t one aspect of football where Neymar outshines Rooney. Vision, output, effectiveness, mentality…it’s all Rooney. Some things in football are to be debated, others are straight up fact, this is the latter

All fantastic players but with the way Eze is performing right now there’s no way he’s not included in the squad. For too long England have wrestled with big names instead of performances and profiles that suit. He’s already got a good relationship with Rice/Saka too so won’t take time to settle. If he’s not starting he has to be in the squad for me. #ad
