What a way to reaffirm that she was not the right candidate for a highly contested Senate race that will require the candidate to do a lot of ego checking, and grassroots outreach to people who already disdain the Democratic party.

This cost them about $1 trillion.
The truth is, you cannot build systems like this exclusively on the logic of profit. You cannot expect to break even in 20 or 30 years. Projects of this scale are built because the government decides they must exist to serve the people.
And this is a problem with systems that are strictly, or overwhelmingly, capitalist. If you leave every problem in your society to the spontaneity of the market, some challenges are so large and so unprofitable that you will never have sufficient incentive to solve them.

prince's music wasn't available on streaming/youtube until 2017. it couldn't be posted to social media, used in short videos, or etc. it essentially didn't take root in the shareable internet ecosystem. there's no reason it couldn't now, but so far it hasn't. that's basically it

Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers.
My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers.
This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.
