Bawing 200 Relief Packs 100 Gallons of Water Prk. 1, Brgy. San Jose 150 Relief Packs 100 Gallons of Water Prk. Lower Puting Bato, Brgy. Calumpang 140 Relief Packs And because no pet should be left behind, we also shared food with stray dogs and cats we met along the way. As we wrap up this relief operation, we just want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Together, we were able to provide assistance to hundreds of families, provide clean drinking water, distribute meals, and extend a little comfort to communities affected by the recent calamities. This may be the end of this relief operation, but we'll always carry with us the kindness and bayanihan that made it possible. BLACK-BAND PROTEST Graduating students of Ateneo de Manila University are set to wear black bands during commencement rites from June 19 to 21 and join a walkout on Friday, June 19, in solidarity with the families of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, whose deaths have sparked calls for transparency, accountability and justice. In a statement posted Thursday, June 18, the Ateneo Seniors’ Alliance urged members of the Class of 2026 to wear black bands on their right wrists and join a community walkout after the commencement rites, saying the community “cannot act as if everything is normal” amid lingering questions over the university’s response to the tragedy.
