As many unfortunately expected, Paige and Brie Bella defeated Bayley and Lyra Valkyria to retain the Women's Tag Team Championships. Even commentary seemed to predict the outcome, pointing out that Bayley and Lyra lose more often than they win. But it all made sense after the match... Lyra Valkyria attacked Bayley and officially turned heel! What's even crazier is that Lyra was the one who took the pinfall loss, not Bayley. I've personally been waiting for this heel turn for a while. I've always felt that Lyra Valkyria would work better as a villain, and now we're finally going to get the chance to see what that looks like. This feud is about to go hard on so many levels.

@reigns_era Sorry. Not that high on all of these. Chad Gable needs a rocket strapped. Not a weekly soap opera at this moment. Gable needs to win the IC title now. Needs to defend against Bron Breakker at Summerslam. No more stalling. Build him up as a main eventer NOW.

Really loved Lyra's turn. Her frustration over the losses finally boiling over and taking it out on Bayley was done really well. Those rope throws looked absolutely brutal. This is the kind of non title feud WWE needs more of. It gives both women a story they can really sink their teeth into and adds some much needed depth to the division. Well done. #WWERaw

I don't understand why the main world champions only defend their titles on PLEs. In the past, wrestlers defended their titles on respective brands, but now it's a different game. They should really consider doing that again
