You know what's been lighting me on fire lately?
The more Muslims I talk to, the more I realize many of them already have a heart that longs for Christ.
Think about it.
If you wake up before sunrise to seek God...
If you genuinely want to obey Him...
If you grieve your sin...
If you fight to stay pure in a world that celebrates darkness...
Those desires don't prove you're far from God: They reveal a heart that was made for Him.
As a Muslim, I was taught that Christianity was shirk, the ultimate deception. But what if the Gospel is actually the fulfillment of the longing that's been in your heart all along?
Because that's what happened to me.
I wasn't running toward Jesus.
I was trying to disprove Him.
Yet the closer I looked, the more I realized I wasn't miles away from Him.
I was standing at the front door, afraid to knock.
And when I finally did, I didn't find condemnation.
I found scars: Proof that He came looking for me long before I ever started looking for Him.
So if you're Muslim and you're searching, questioning, or wrestling, don't assume you're far away.
You may be one honest prayer away from everything changing. I know I was.
@MasterMaliq The child died, and David repented. Later, Bathsheba bore Solomon, the lawful son and heir of David.
Likewise, Jesus was not Joseph's biological son, yet as Joseph's legal son He inherited the Davidic royal lineage and the legal right to David's throne.
Why is Jesus called the "Son of David" if He’s also called the Son of God?
David was a flawed king who committed serious sins, so how does that lineage fit into the idea of divinity?🤔
The God of the Torah, the Bible and the Quran is the same God.
Abraham → Isaac → Jacob → Moses → Jesus → Muhammad.
One straight line. One message. One Lord.
Different prophets, same God.
@Ihunanya_chi I once chose not to receive Holy Communion for months. Then one day, I had Palm Sunday leaves changed from fresh green to pitch black within a single day - didn't happen to others - only mine.
It was an unmistakable sign. I felt Jesus telling me personally to return to Him.
As a Christian, what did you see, experience, or encounter in your walk with Jesus that made you fully decide there is no turning back? What convinced you beyond doubt that Jesus is real and worth following for the rest of your life? Let’s discuss.
@TevinMacharia Christians: Because I'm already loved by God, I'll do good things out of gratitude.
Muslims: Because If I do good things, God will love me and reward me.
@RealShahriqKhan I live in Indonesia. People are taught to memorize Quran, using language they don't fully understand, and their religious knowledge comes primarily from teachers' interpretations rather than direct engagement with the text itself. It's about memorizing rather than understanding.
As an Ex-Muslim turned Christian apologist, here is how I handle almost every Muslim objection:
Stop playing theological whack-a-mole with Islam. It will be fruitless.
When I debate Muslims, I don’t start with the Trinity.
I'm not starting with original sin.
I'm not starting with "How can God have a Son?"
I start with one question:
Is the Bible the revelation of God, or not?
Because every other debate comes after that.
I believe in the Trinity because the Bible teaches it, I believe in original sin because the Bible teaches it and I believe Jesus is the Son of God because the Bible teaches it.
Muslims believe the same about the Quran. They believe Islam because the Quran tells them to.
That's the real issue that so many Christians miss.
Why spend hours arguing doctrine when the deeper question is: Which book actually comes from God?
If the Bible is historically reliable and divinely inspired, then most objections disappear before they even begin.
You can debate theology forever, but if we're reading from different books with different authorities, we're never getting to the root of the issue.
Settle the Book issue first.
Then the conversation stops being an argument.
It becomes a Bible study.
@MasterMaliq As a Christian, I've been studying the history and writings of the Early Church Fathers. You might find them worth exploring as a reference too. That exact centuries before Islam.
Wait… I’m genuinely curious about something.
How did Christianity go from one message to so many different sects, each with completely different doctrines and interpretations of the same Bible?
Which one is actually the original church — Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal… or are they all just branches that split along the way?
And if they all claim to follow the same Jesus and the same scriptures, why can’t many of them even agree enough to fully worship together?
At what point did unity become denominations?
Why do non-Muslims see me as a THREAT just because I’m Muslim?!
I just want to live in PEACE. Why am I judged for what a few criminals do?!
This isn’t fear, this is pure hate. 😔💔
Goodbye Indonesia - welcome to Philipina.
@MasterMaliq It's not about God.
The question is: Do you believe the good things you've done in life will save you? That you think doing more good than bad is enough.
If so, you're placing your trust in your own righteousness rather than in God's mercy - and that's a dangerous place to be.
