This afternoon, buses carrying BJP supporters to the Brigade Parade rally, the culmination of #Brigade4Poriborton, were attacked near Girish Park Crossing in the heart of Kolkata. Several supporters were injured.
The attack took place at one of the city’s busiest crossings, close to the residence of T MC leader and minister Dr. Shashi Panja.
As T MC goons targeted the buses, Kolkata Police reportedly looked the other way, with several personnel seen taking shelter nearby instead of intervening.
