I think what bothers me about this cover is that for Romita specifically this just doesn’t feel very definitive or iconic for something that represents Spidey’s 1000th issue.

@_slooshie If they got rid of her self shield in like season 7 when they toned him down, she would have been perfectly fine 🤷♂️ daredevil was crazy overpowered at launch but I really don’t think he was as oppressive during season 7-8

@batman_really DD can see her even when invisible, interrupt her jump, has a move where he can get closer to a target and deflect. Pre self shield, Sue was just cooked and you had to switch off.
