Learning the Art of Composition Day6 作品分析 Daily painting by Catan artstation.com/artwork/3q04Pv この作品をみてまず気づいたことは、倒木を利用して上下で分割されていること。 縦線と横線で分断されているほか、上は光、人物、空気と軽く、下は影、倒木、地面と重い印象が残る。 これにより、上部は神聖さや未知を感じるが、下部では重さや時間が停止している感覚になる。 さらに、下部は暗くて重い印象にるため、視線がとどまるように感じるが、上部の明るく軽い(ネガティブスペースがあるため)印象のため、視線が上へ引き上げられ、抜けていくようになる(視線の逃げ道)。 人物が3人であるということも重要。1人では孤独な印象に、2人では関係性が強調されるため、別な意図になるが、3人という絶妙な人数により、構図に安定が生まれ、広がりが出る。また、3角構図にもなる。 顔が見えないため、感情が読めず、匿名性が増し、ミステリアスさが増す。 この絵のゴールは人物ではなく。その先の空間。 人物はシルエットで表され背景は白く飛び気味、光に吸い込まれるようになり、この倒木の奥、人々が見ているものを自然と想像したくなる。
