Claude code is essentially unusable for me i hit 36% session limits in 15 mins. Just by using a single agent on my codebase.
@claudeai you need to fix it.
I'm on the 100$ plan btw

Project Hail Mary is doing so well at the global box office that there’s talk of turning it into a franchise with a sequel. bit.ly/4uWmHb4

@BobbyTimeclock @lil_gasmask only 100$ in and they start producing what people want, crazy how they rob themselves! i bet they donate the rest of their earnings to cancer research
English

@lil_gasmask They’re making one right now! They heard us & are now doing them even though they originally weren’t going to, and it’s supposed to be here before summer
I don’t like this DLC structure at all either but this is getting crazy
They’re already doing the thing you’re asking for

@pipos666 @SirLynx77 @GeraltofGoonia that doesnt actually address what i mean, it is rather evidence for the above formula to produce negative value

There is:
Highlights
•
Denuvo DRM protects total revenue from piracy by a mean of 15% and a median of 20%.
•
Piracy causes mean total revenue to decrease by 20% when Denuvo is cracked quickly.
•
Piracy causes zero mean total revenue loss when Denuvo survives for 12 weeks or more.
•
The characteristics of a game cannot explain its likelihood of being cracked.

Influencer Myron Gaines, labeled a ‘Nazi’, is now touring US college campuses, drawing hundreds of students. This is his official trailer. They thought Charlie Kirk was ‘bad’ 💀
English

@Laurinchhe there was (and is) a sequel meta, a prequel meta, a spin off meta. none of them is intrinsicly more true than the remastered meta (which i personally hate the most).
English

You could have made a Spin off about the story how his parents met and feel in love and had harry until they died or a story of how Hogwarts was created originally with the four Houses. You could have even shown us Voldemorts story more in detail but no … we get this … ok shure … very creative

@gnrtvty @Firekkian @yoyonofukuoka the latin part is utter bs, too. it is the same as in english. gaul is implied through the context, as in written in another sentence.
English

That is a reasonable guess as to what was meant, but is not similar at all; Japanese does not encode person or number in conjugations like Latin does.
The subject needs to be recovered entirely from discourse context, shared knowledge, or pragmatic inference.
If you saw the Japanese equivalent of "veni, vidi, vici"
来た、見た、勝った (kita, mita, katta)
you would have no idea that it meant "I came, I saw, I conquered" just from this sentence alone.
It could mean "he came, he saw, he conquered" or even "they came, he saw, she conquered".
That is why automatic translation of Japanese and other high context languages has mistranslation risks that Latin and other Western languages do not, and why the @yoyonofukuoka gave the warning.
English

@yoyonofukuoka @Firekkian that was complete nonsense, dont listen to him. the meaning of the latin and the english phrase is identical
English

@Firekkian @yoyonofukuoka what are you talking about? latin means literally translated "i came, i saw, i conquered", the same as in english. obviously the context is gaul, but obviously thats the case in english, too. idk if grifting or stupid, but dont listen to this
English

I appreciate the forewarning offered to your brethren. I want to note that as far as I am aware, Latin, one of the West's deepest origin languages, is similarly contextual to Japanese, the famous line, "Veni Vidi Vici," meaning in actuality, "I came to Gaul, then I saw Gaul, and then I conquered Gaul." However in English you can still shorten this to "I came, I saw, I conquered," when the context of it being a Ceasar Quote is given beforehand. So as you see, we are not so word-dependent as you might think! I think in English it's really a matter of establishing the subject initially, and then flowing on through pronouns from there, because of whatever influence we took from Latin in our conversation style.
English

@SirLynx77 @GeraltofGoonia i truly think aaa companies should have a metric comparing the win they make with less piracy due to denuvo vs what they miss due to people waiting until denuvo is removed and it is on sale. they lose the sale diff on all late-buyers and the denuvo license on all others, a L L
English

@GeraltofGoonia I still don't get it.
I don't think people who pirate games will suddenly become buyers just because of Denuvo.
they will simply wait it out, no matter how long it takes.
There's also this trend where people want to truly own their games and play them offline.
