I let the cats into my home office unsupervised today (rare) and within 10 minutes they were BEHIND THE BOOKS ON MY SHELF, KNOCKING THEM DOWN IN A GAME OF HIDE AND SEEK. THEY DID IT IN COMPLETE SILENCE SO AS NOT TO BE DISCOVERED. One is 8, the other is still a kitten >:/

I'm on book 15 of the Master & Commander series right now and I can't believe I've gone my whole life without it; it's totally transformed my writing

I genuinely think watching old movies, reading old books, playing old games, generally stepping outside your comfort zone, is good for your brain and makes you a better person (not exclusively old stuff but not exclusively new either)

One of the most frustrating parts of the human experience is people's lack of curiosity. Refusing to engage with older art, going straight to modern remakes without any thought of even trying the original work, saying you don’t have to play an interactive game to be a fan etc.

I hate to nitpick things when we're being fed with possibly the best live action Spider-Man content after years BUT who'll exactly be the main villain of this movie? Wondering how did they fit all that into a two hour movie makes me excited and worried at the same time
