His Little Pack
#BringValkoBack #BringBackValko #JusticeforValko #Valko
“Eww, Dad, you’re making that face again,” the red-haired boy groaned from the back seat of the car, dramatically twisting his features into an exaggerated imitation.
You burst into laughter as you watched your son through the rearview mirror.
“You’re overdoing it, Faelen,” Valko said, narrowing his eyes playfully.
One hand rested on the steering wheel as he guided the car along a scenic road lined with red and golden autumn trees. His other hand remained intertwined with yours. Soft music played in the background from the playlist you had lovingly put together for your husband.
“I simply love your mother very much. That’s my look of adoration,” Valko winked at you.
Faelen responded with a heavy sigh and an eye roll.
“Just wait until you’re older. We’ll see how hard you fall for some girl.”
“Girls are gross. I’m never gonna like anyone,” Faelen mumbled, his cheeks turning bright red as he crossed his arms and puffed cheeks out stubbornly.
You and Valko exchanged an amused, knowing look.
A week earlier, his kindergarten teacher had informed you that your son had attempted to confess his feelings to a little girl—only to be brutally rejected by a building block came flying straight into his forehead.
“Alright, alright. Whatever you say,” you replied with a soft smile.
Soon, you arrived at your destination: a camping area nestled beside a large forest lake.
The moment the car stopped, Faelen shot out of his seat and sprinted toward the water, fish net in hand.
“This child is a walking source of endless energy,” you laughed as you watched him kick off his shoes and run along the shoreline.
“And that’s hardly surprising, considering who his parents are,” Valko stepped beside you and wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you closer.
Lowering his head, he buried his nose against your neck and breathed in your familiar scent.
When he finally pulled away, you noticed the warm golden glow in his eyes.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you muttered, blushing.
“Like what?” Valko asked innocently. His fingers slipped through your hair.
“Sometimes it feels like I fall a little more in love with you every single day.” His smile deepened.
“And I think our little troublemaker deserves some company… though it seems he’s already found someone.”
His gaze drifted toward the lake.
There stood Faelen, triumphantly holding a frog above his head.
Valko immediately rushed over, scooped him up into his arms, and lifted him high like a victorious champion. Faelen dissolved into laughter, refusing to let go of his hard-earned trophy.
By the time dusk settled over the forest, your whole family was gathered around a crackling campfire, roasting sausages.
The day’s fishing expedition had produced only a few tiny fish, all of which had been released back into the lake at Faelen’s insistence.
There wasn’t another soul around. Just the three of you. The gentle crackling of the fire. The distant calls of owls somewhere deep within the woods.
Although it was only early autumn, the evenings had already grown chilly.
You sat comfortably in Valko’s lap beneath a shared blanket.
Despite repeated invitations to join you, Faelen stubbornly remained on his own, bundled up in a small blanket decorated with adorable wolves.
What could you do? Your little boy had entered that phase where he insisted on doing everything himself.
The same determination appeared again when it was time for bed. Faelen carefully arranged his belongings inside his own tiny tent, making it abundantly clear that he intended to sleep alone.
“I don’t know if I like this idea, darling,” you whispered anxiously into Valko’s ear. “We’re in the middle of a forest. At night.”
You couldn’t stop glancing toward your son.
Having just finished preparing your sleeping area, Valko merely smiled with the confidence of someone who seemed to know everything in the world.
He wrapped his arms around your shoulders from behind.

Even though it seems like he’s gone, I know he isn’t. He’ll return as a king 👑

I am surely the first of my bloodline to see a fictional man falsely accused of a crime by a real government and subjected to video game exile. #JusticeforValko

….while i do not condone being rude to people when they’re devastated and everything seems like a hope (which makes them gullible, yes. but stupid? that’s too much) i just want my oomfs to know that the rumors i shared turns out to be headcanons
