I was really surprised by how obvious Gabi’s gender envy of Lestat was in this episode. So much of what had been said made it sound as though all of that had been eliminated, but to me it was still all over the place in their human interactions.

this is such an interesting question because i believe claudia might be a major point of disconnect between gabistat. while gabi is distancing herself from parenthood, i think lestat is moving in the opposite direction after “but i was never her [father]”
