I really think that Bubble was some kind of manifestation of the original Abel ai (assuming there was one, given the red and blue dot imagery and that multiple ais were being worked on) and Caine assimilated with Abel in order to take over and Bubble was Abel’s last ditch effort-

he certainly deserves getting put into the torture chamber for all the other shit he’s done to that poor woman who’s just been trying to help him 😭
