It's really confusing to see people so strongly opposed to "degrowth". I can't imagine they're opposed what the actual effects of such a policy would be, they just seem triggered by the words used to describe it. OTOH, what is a policy besides the words used to describe it?

Manipulation is when they blame you for your reaction to their toxic behavior but never discuss their disrespect that triggered you.
