My thought: What took Slack so long to do this? 🙂 This is basically Quip inside Slack (and a bit like Loop in Teams, although potentially better integrated). It feels like the world is going full circle - chat alone isn't enough for getting work done.

But they are also talking up integrations with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Dropbox so doesn't sound like it will replace your other subscriptions anytime soon #digitalworkplace

A whole bunch of interesting stuff in Canva announced dive into productivity (and more) with their visual worksuite. Although Canva Docs doesn't look that differentiated, as a bundle and a brand it might give them an edge canva.com/newsroom/news/…
